LinguaAI is a suite of AI-powered apps for macOS, iOS, iPadOS, Apple Watch, and CarPlay. All apps use a Bring Your Own Key model. You provide your own API keys for complete privacy and control.
Bring Your Own Key: Every LinguaAI app connects directly to AI providers using your own API keys. No intermediary servers, no data collection, no subscriptions. You pay providers directly for what you use.
Get API keys from the providers you want to use:
Each app has a Settings or API Keys section. Keys are stored securely in your device's Keychain and sync across devices via iCloud Keychain. Set up once, works everywhere.
A macOS menubar app for AI text processing. Select text in any app, trigger a shortcut, and get results instantly. No context switching.
Configure shortcuts and their assigned prompts in settings. There are no default shortcuts. You create the ones that work for your workflow.
Click the LinguaAI icon in your menubar to access the full chat interface, manage prompts, switch models, and configure settings.
Running Windows through Parallels or another VM? Three-key shortcuts may not trigger when the VM is in focus.
Solution: Use two-key shortcuts instead. For example, use ⌃T instead of ⌃⌥T. Make sure your two-key combinations don't conflict with shortcuts in your Windows applications like Trados or MemoQ.

Privacy & Security: Your data never passes through intermediary servers. API keys are stored in your device's Keychain. All AI requests go directly from your device to the provider. LinguaAI cannot access your prompts, conversations, or API keys.
